Escrow Administrative Assistant (mortgage / banking)

"Job Description
We are currently seeking part time and full time Escrow Administrative Assistant positions to support our vast array of real estate services.
Responsbilites include:
Drafting correspondence
Scheduling appointments
Organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files
Providing information to callers
Opening and notating receipt in all new escrows
Preparing estimated closing statements for buyer and seller, assisting lenders with their funding and closing conditions
Performing customer service and clerical functions to assist all parties involved in the escrow process
Job Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to consistently meet deadlines
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Well-organized and able to prioritize, multi-task, and adhere to deadlines while working independently with minimal supervision
Basic to intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite "

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
