Master Data Management Support (MDM) comprises a set of processes, policies, standards and tools that consistently defines and manages the master data of an organization. The more valuable or relevant a data source is to company operations; the more likely it is to be treated as corporate master data. MDM has the objective of taking data that exist in multiple forms throughout the company and turning them into single source data that can be accessed by the entire company through multiple applications and platforms. This is accomplished by providing processes for collecting, aggregating, matching, consolidating, and quality-assuring such data to ensure its consistency and accuracy.

Summary: This position is part of the exciting New Item Registry initiative for our client. This role will be key in ensuring a smooth transition of new and existing supplier partners to the new business process. The individual will be responsible for training suppliers, helping troubleshoot, and support them in day to day activities as they relate to onboarding new items into our client's portfolio. NIR creates efficient ways to collect and manage data about supplier items, brands, and goals across all states. This data will then be used as critical content in a series of new companywide demand planning, purchasing, reporting and analytics initiatives. In addition, this role will also support the digital assets and national goals as well as the maintenance of our Supplier's Product Hierarchy.
Essential Functions:
o Provide training and support to users in east and west coast time zones
o Must be a problem solver with excellent written and communication skills
o Interface with personnel in corporate, markets, and suppliers to collect data about items, brands, plans and goals, special promotion programs, and internal progress estimates against those goals and programs
o Exceptionally detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
o Proactively identify processes for the most efficient ongoing collection of the data
o Help to define and identify how processes can be made more efficient and reliable
o Consolidate multiple data components into a single data source
o Define and implement data validation processes to ensure data accuracy
o Become a company-wide subject matter expert (SME) in the details of the item set up process
o Ensure data collected is deposited into a central data warehouse
Required Skills:
o Bachelor's degree required
o Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite Outlook, Excel (Marcos), Word, Access, PowerPoint
o Proven experience with large scale data related projects
o 2-3 years of experience in online customer support or supplier facing portal
o High degree of comfort working with large and detailed data sets
o Excellent project management skills
o Excellent customer service skills
o Ability to successfully communicate with both technical and business stakeholders
o SQL and Business Objects knowledge a plus
o Ability to easily adapt to new software tools and systems
o Ability to work independently and autonomously
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
