IT Property Management Systems Data Analyst

Pay Rate: 35.00- 40.00 w2 - 45.00 C2C
Duration: 6 months- up to 18 months
Our client is in search for IT Property Management Systems Data Analyst for a contract engagement with a major cruise line in South Florida. The primary focus is to reconcile ship embarkation data from various entry points to what is received in Fidelio FMS. The candidate is expected to oversee and collect the data files throughout the embarkation process and reconcile/report progress and issues throughout the process for Next Generation Ships. The ideal candidate musy have strong analysis and communication skills are a must; Schedule to be determined by ships embarkation dates and not necessarily tied to business hours. May also be assigned as resource for shipboard projects (upgrades, NewBuilds, enhancements), requiring server/application builds in our lab environments and on site shipboard deployments. The will participate in User Acceptance Testing; Test and certify version updates received from system vendor; Maintenance and general ownership of application (roadmaps, analyze trends in support, etc.)
Required skills/competencies:
Strong data analysis and communication skills a must; Experience in supporting packaged applications ; Experience with Fidelio FMS (Financial Management System) a strongly preferred but not necessary; Experience with Property Management Systems (Fidelio, Encore and/or TTG preferred but not necessary) ; Incident/Problem resolution skills ; hospitality/hotel IT experience;
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Oracle (although MS SQL would be useful in lieu of no Oracle experience) ; Experience with Fidelio Cruise modules and FMS preferred; Cruise industry/hospitality experience preferred ; 2/3 years of field experience; Ability to use Crystal Reports
Preferred Education:
Degree in Computer Science or commensurate and applicable experience

Other comments:
This role is intended to assist the Shipboard Property Management Systems (SPMS) Engineers by actively facilitating the embarkation process for ships leveraging the Next Generation Embarkation (NGE) process. This roll is intended to be owner of the data flow process, reporting and all analysis required to facilitate the process. Once this process is stabilized, this roll may be expanded into the role of System Owner for the NGE or for SPMS (FMS).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
