As a Property Inspector, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and documenting the condition of our beautiful vacation homes so that every guest who checks in has the best experience possible! This is a part time position with flexible hours and a supportive team.
This is the perfect position for Teachers who are on Summer Break or for anyone who is looking to earn a little extra with a flexible and interesting part-time job.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct comprehensive inspections of our diverse range of vacation homes, including condos, townhomes, and single-family residences spanning from Destin to Inlet Beach.
Employ Breezeway, a specialized Inspection Software, to streamline and enhance our inspection processes.
Adhere to the rigorous standards outlined by Beyond Blue via Breezeway, documenting each inspection with meticulous attention to detail through the utilization of photos and comprehensive notes within Breezeway.
Effectively communicate any identified issues both within the Breezeway platform and by promptly notifying our dedicated team.
Perform light fluffing duties, as required, which may involve the re-arrangement of knick-knacks, pillows, bedding, or small furniture to their designated positions if found displaced.
Thoroughly review the Housekeeping handbooks to ensure that each vacation home is arranged precisely as depicted in the reference pictures, including the appropriate placement of pillows on designated beds.
Verify the cleanliness and functionality of AC filters, promptly replacing them as necessary to maintain optimal air quality.
Validate the operational status of all light bulbs and promptly replace any that are burnt out, ensuring a well-lit and inviting ambiance.
Contact Head of Housekeeping if the assigned Housekeeping tasks were not completed well or if any crucial areas were overlooked.
Inspect both indoor and outdoor spaces, encompassing areas such as the Garage, Golf Cart, and Patios/Balconies, to ensure their cleanliness, functionality, and compliance with our high standards.
Verify the proper functioning of electrical systems and appliances, ensuring they meet the expectations of our guests.
Verify the operation of the air conditioning system, ensuring it is functional and adjusted to the appropriate temperature based on the current season.
Equip yourself with a blower to effectively remove any leaves or debris from porches, as required, maintaining a pristine outdoor environment.
Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify and document even minor issues accurately.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and priorities effectively.
Previous experience as an Inspector or Housekeeper is a plus, but not required.
Proficient in using digital tools, software, and applications for generating inspection reports and managing documentation.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various properties.
Physical ability to access and inspect properties of varying sizes and conditions, including climbing ladders, crawling into confined spaces, and walking on uneven surfaces and lifting 20 lbs.
