The Remote Internet Specialist's primary responsibility is to capture as many reservations as possible by utilizing selling techniques and managing extranet rates and inventory effectively.
The ideal candidate would be courteous, self-motivated and detail oriented.
Essential Duties:
Manage all internet reservation systems.
Ensure reservation, packages and all phases of bookings are working properly.
Ensure room availability, packages and other special offers are updated.
Ensure package fulfillment transpires.
Assist guests by selling future reservations.
Promptly follow up with guest inquiry leads.
Answer telephone calls and emails in a clear and professional manner.
Maintain potential and current guest profile information.
Assist customers with questions regarding their existing reservations.
Must have ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
Deliver the highest standard of service to all customers.
Effectively manage daily correspondences and operational tasks to exceed customer expectations and expand customer base.
Display effective computer literacy and be familiar with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Professional customer service nature and desire to exceed expectations.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Desire to be part of high growth, fast paced business.

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic Required Skills:
o Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
o Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
o Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
o Must maintain clear and concise documentation and positive approach to conflict resolution.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit for several hours per day.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks.
Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.
Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
