Cashier/Sales Associate Job
Responsibilities:
Process returns on any damaged merchandise freight Assist with directing customers with merchandise suggestions Collect payments and bag purchases for customers Assist in merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping Maintain accurate cash drawer Skills:
Strong teamwork skills Great Communication skills Dependability Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change Operate registers, scanners and credit card/debit card terminals Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
Knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards and register receipt is preferredWe are seeking a Cashier/Sales associate who is organized, has excellent technical sales skills, and is fluent in English.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and completing sales transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
Duties:
- Greet customers as they enter the store - Assist customers with their purchases - Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently - Handle cash and credit card payments - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Answer customer questions about products and services - Upsell products to customers to increase sales Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills - Strong technical sales skills - Fluent in English - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management skills
