Under direct supervision of the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, provides general supervision for the daily operations of the Marina Bar and Grill.
Essential Duties:
Estimates food and beverage costs and requisitions or purchases supplies.
Confers with food preparation and other personnel to plan menus and related activities such as dining room, bar, and banquet operations.
Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
Reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations.
Ability to train and coach fellow staff members.
Supervise and provide top quality service to customers.
Confers with F&B Manager and other personnel to plan menus and related activities Ability to train fellow staff members, coach and council and advice in career goals.

Education:
Associates degree (A.
A.
) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience with dining, buffet and food maintenance operations and customer service.
Knowledge of computers.
Basic Required Skills:
Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensures employees do the same with them.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Utilizes an open door policy, and reviews employee satisfaction results to identify and address employee problems or concerns.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
May be required:

Physical Demands:
Work tasks are performed both indoors as well as outdoors in the natural elements.
Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 5 hours in length.

Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
