The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, detail oriented and excited to engage with our amazing Arise team members. Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations. Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements Administering of benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
Responsibilities:
Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters Backup for Specialist and Coordinator when it comes to the preparation of new hire documents, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including weekly and semi-monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking paid time off, inputting exceptions, hourly employee validations, and benefit changes Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies Manage the leave process including FMLA, Maternity and Paternity leaves and international leaves Conduct internal audits of our HRIS and processes Support the wellbeing activities at Arise in partnership with the VP of HR, Coordinator and Empowerment Squad which is employee led. Assist with the launch of contests, wellbeing, employee engagement activities and volunteer opportunities and communications according to a thoughtfully designed program Assist in creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval, and initiating activities in conjunction with the HR Coordinator Manage audits, including Worker's Comp, SAS70, Financial, etc., and process EEOC, 5500, and other filings Manage Business Continuity Planning for HR Team Manage Performance Review cycles for org, including administration of tool, communications, training, ongoing efforts for performance improvement, including development plans, warnings, performance improvement plans, etc Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship Manage company's retirement plan enrollment, deductions, audits, and everything related to our 401k plan Arrange workshops, and training based on each department's needs Conducts stay and exit interviews with employees and communicate findings to management Actively participate in maintaining a fun and collaborative culture Establish trust and maintain professional relationships with all levels of employees Run several reports on a weekly and monthly basis and analyze data to recommend programs Our new team member will need:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related 5
years of experience as an HR Generalist or related At least one year of human resources management experience preferred PHR and/or SHRM-CP a plus Effective HR administration and project coordination skills Understanding of HR functions and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Works well under pressure, meets tight and competing deadlines, and self-manages workload based on timelines and prioritization Highly computer literate with capability in MS Office and related business and communication tools Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS, talent management systems, and other team software. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
